Anna Leigh Ashford
Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14 20th, 1980) was an American actress, singer and dancer. Her early roles on Broadway include roles in the musicals Wicked Legally Blonde and Hair. She won the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in the Play as Essie Carmichael in You Can't Take It With You. Annaleigh Ashford is a Tony Award winner actor has worked with a variety of acclaimed actors and directors in theatre and in television. Her award-winning career in the coming projects. Ashford is next seen opposite Kumail Nannjiani as part of Robert Siegel's Hulu Limited series Welcome to Chippendales premiering November 22. Ashford's latest film includes the Searchlight Pictures horror thriller Dust that he will be starring with Sarah Paulson and Ebonmoss-Bachrach. This film is undoubtedly a Hulu Original and will be streamed via Disney DTC. Ashford will return to Broadway on March 20, 2023 where he'll play Josh Groban opposite Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The production is at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Thomas Kail, director and producer of Hamilton will lead the production. Ashford was a part of Paula Jones, the main role in Ryan Murphy's upcoming FX program American Crime Story Impeachment. In two seasons, Ashford was the main character of the critically acclaimed CBS comedy B Positive. The series was created by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin.
